Catering across Toronto and the GTA
We cook in our kitchen and deliver or staff events across the city and the surrounding GTA. Each area below has its own page, because a Bay Street boardroom, a Brampton banquet hall and an Oakville lawn need very different plans.
Where we cater
Our regular service area covers the City of Toronto and the neighbouring cities of Peel, York and Halton regions. The table below summarizes what each area usually asks of us; the area pages go into the details, from loading docks to tent permits.
| Area | Typical events | What to plan for |
|---|---|---|
| Downtown Toronto | Boardroom lunches, client receptions, loft launches | Loading docks, security sign-in, freight elevators |
| Midtown Toronto | Home dinner parties, condo party rooms, small office lunches | Permit parking, home kitchens, elevator bookings |
| North York | Office lunches, community hall events, family celebrations | 401 timing, hall food rules, campus contracts |
| Scarborough | Family and community celebrations, iftars, shift lunches | Halal and vegetarian separation, hall rules |
| Etobicoke | Backyard parties, lakeshore condo events, airport-corridor offices | Backyard power, Park Lawn traffic, site access |
| Mississauga | Recurring office programs, banquet hall events, lakeside parties | Business-park deliveries, halal baseline, highway interchanges |
| Brampton | Multi-day South Asian weddings, large receptions | Guest counts, vegetarian separation, banquet hall policies |
| Vaughan | Communions, family-style celebrations, estate backyards, VMC offices | Hall exclusivity, estate access, Highway 400 timing |
| Markham | Tech campus all-hands, recurring lunches, cultural celebrations | Visitor registration, purchase orders, fast service for big groups |
| Richmond Hill | Home entertaining, Nowruz and Lunar New Year gatherings | Late dinners, food held safely over long evenings |
| Oakville | Estate garden parties, tented weddings, executive dinners | Tent permits, generators, lakefront wind |
We also cater in East York, York, Thornhill, Aurora, Newmarket, King City, Caledon, Milton, Burlington and Durham Region (Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa). Minimums, travel time and fees for these areas are confirmed in your quote, so send us the address when you inquire.
How distance affects your order
Distance matters less than traffic. A delivery 40 kilometres away on a clear highway can be quicker than one across downtown at noon. What really changes with distance is the margin for error: a collision on the 401 or the QEW can add 30–45 minutes, so the further out the event, the earlier we leave and the more buffer we build into setup.
Our standard terms are the same across the core service area:
- Drop-off catering needs 48 hours notice and a minimum of 15 guests, with delivery at $45. See drop-off catering.
- Full-service events start at 40 guests, with staff billed at $38 per hour and a 18% service charge. See full-service catering.
- Weddings should be booked at least 6 months ahead.
For events outside Toronto, any staff travel time or longer-distance delivery charge is confirmed in your quote before you book. The full breakdown is on our pricing page.
What we need to know about your location
The address is only the start. For every event we ask a few questions that decide how the day runs:
- Where do we unload? A loading dock, a front door, a driveway or a service lane, and how far from there to the room.
- What access rules apply? Security sign-in, freight elevator bookings, visitor registration, condo party room hours, gate codes.
- Is there a kitchen, and may we use it? Many halls, lofts and homes have limited or no kitchen facilities for a caterer.
- How much power is there? Warmers, coffee urns, lights and music can overload a household or heritage-building circuit.
- Does the venue have its own catering rules? Exclusive caterers, kitchen or plate fees, food restrictions in places of worship, liquor licences.
- When must we be out? Clean-up deadlines decide how many staff we schedule at the end of the night.
Our venue guides cover these questions for each kind of space, from offices to backyard tents.
Rules that change across the GTA
Most of the rules that matter for catering are provincial, so they are the same everywhere in the GTA. Food premises must have a certified food handler or supervisor on site during every hour of operation under Ontario Regulation 493/17. Alcohol is regulated by the AGCO: a private event such as a wedding reception at a hall needs a Special Occasion Permit applied for at least 10 days ahead if the venue is not licensed, and liquor cannot be sold at a residence at all. HST of 13% applies to catering across Ontario.
Some rules are local. Tent permits, parking rules, noise bylaws and park event permits are set by each municipality, and food premises are inspected by the local public health unit: Toronto Public Health in Toronto, and the Peel, York and Halton regional health units outside it. We point out the local rules on each area page.
Choose your service
Area pages explain the local logistics; our service pages explain the food and formats. Start with corporate catering for office lunches, meetings and receptions, weddings for cocktail receptions, micro-weddings and backyard tents, or private events for parties, milestones and celebrations of life. If your guests have dietary requirements, see our dietary catering pages. When you are ready, request a quote with your address and venue details, or call 647-830-0079.
Send the venue details with your inquiry
Unloading point, access rules, kitchen, power and end time. With those five answers we can quote accurately the first time, wherever in the GTA your event is.

Standard delivery is $45. Any longer-distance delivery charge or staff travel time is confirmed in your quote.
